ATG (Art Technology Group), a provider of e-commerce services and Heiler Software, a provider of enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) software, have formed a partnership to provide web merchants with an offering that enables organisations to leverage the Heiler global network of suppliers and the Heiler enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) software.

The partners said that the ATG customers will be able to leverage Heiler’s enterprise PIM software, which includes access to the Heiler global network of more than 6,400 suppliers and their preloaded SKUs. This deployment technique helps customers avoid going through the supplier to obtain the SKUs.

According to partners, the Heiler PIM software provides ATG customers with a single platform to acquire, manage and re-purpose all product information. Suppliers, distributors and retailers now have a product to manage the entire information management process.

Whether data originates in an ERP system, an inventory system, a PLM system or any number of other internal or external systems, the Heiler enterprise PIM software becomes the central hub that normalises the data and ensures data quality, culminating in enhanced sales through the ATG e-commerce site, claimed the companies.

Greg Wong, CEO of Heiler Software, said: “Multi-channel e-commerce is now imperative to any retailer. The joint Heiler-ATG solution provides retailers with the best solution in the market to increase their product portfolios, prepare perfect product data and ensure brand consistency across channels resulting in increased sales and margins.”
