Atalasoft has released a new version of SharePoint document viewer Vizit SP 2.0, which includes new search features that give users the ability to search for-and preview-documents in SharePoint through indexed and column-based searches.
The company said that new search capabilities allow users to perform a full text search inside the Vizit SP user interface, view documents from SharePoint search results through the Vizit previewer and search column fields on a SharePoint list. Column search allows users to search on one or more property fields associated with a SharePoint list.
In addition, the new version also features web-based scanning and page manipulation, side-by-side document reviewing, and support for more than 200 additional formats with a new rendition server.
According to Atalasoft, Vizit SP works with production capture applications that add capture for automatic indexing, and classification to its zero-footprint indexing, search, editing, viewing, and scanning.
William Bither, founder and CEO of Atalasoft, said: As more and more enterprises have utilised Vizit SP for document imaging, users are looking for quick and easy ways to search those documents. Our Vizit SP 2.0 release gives companies the document search capabilities they’re looking for.
