Archer Systems, a provider of business and technology services to the Federal government, has developed a cloud computing e-shopping platform that benefits government agencies in their migration towards a service-based environment.

The company said that its Cloud Advantage Platform allows Federal enterprise to select, purchase, invoice, and provision cloud based services to Government agency end users in a single online transaction.

The platform supports cloud service vendors such as Google, Force.com, VMWare, and Akamai; and allows any cloud provider that has a provisioning API to be integrated into the Cloud Advantage platform.

Archer Systems said that the Cloud Advantage Platform is built using FISMA and PCI security specifications and includes FISMA consultation and implementation between Archer Systems, the federal enterprise, and cloud based service vendors.
