HRPay for the UK has been packaged based on the taxation rules of the country. It has been recognised by Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) for Internet Filing and is currently being tested for HMRC Payroll Standard accreditation. The company has currently released the non-accredited beta version of the software at a discount of 50%.

HRPay has been in place in Ireland for sometime, providing Payroll and Time & Attendance functionality for small to medium sized businesses. The UK version is modelled on the Irish version, and re-engineered to cover the requirements of the UK market.

HRPay retains all the historical information that is entered on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and uses this information to provide additional functionality to the user. It handles all revenue returns and forms.

Returns can be paper-based or through integrated internet filing. In addition, it can download all notices from the Data Provisioning Service, i.e. P6, P9, SL1, SL2, annual reminders, and notifications, and apply the changes to the employee records.

Aquila has entered the UK payroll market, which has players including Wispay Payroll, SBpayroll and Sage Software.
