AppRiver partners with Voltage Security

Comprehensive Messaging Security service allows businesses to communicate sensitive information with built-in encryption

By CBR Staff Writer

AppRiver, a provider of e-mail messaging services, has partnered with Voltage Security, a provider of information encryption services for cloud offerings.

By adding the Voltage Security Network, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) proprietary e-mail encryption technology service, to AppRiver’s line of managed e-mail services, AppRiver now equips businesses of all sizes with data protection for internal and external electronic communication, the two companies said.

Integrated with the existing AppRiver infrastructure, and delivered through AppRiver’s seasoned SaaS delivery platform, the Voltage SecureMail encryption system reportedly enables end-to-end, content level encryption of e-mail, mobile messages, files and documents.

Also AppRiver claims to offer a comprehensive, affordable, subscription-based line of SaaS offerings that incorporate the latest anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-phishing, anti-spyware, and anti-malware web services to protect networks from multi-vector security threats.

Wasim Ahmad, vice president of marketing of Voltage Security, said: The Voltage Security and AppRiver partnership provides the combination of online services and privacy services to address today’s data protection demands. We are excited to work with AppRiver because of their knowledge and expertise at delivering SaaS services to the small and medium enterprise market.
