Apple’s new iOS 7, which is expected to be launched at the upcoming WWDC event in June 2013, will sport a ‘black, white and flat’ look all over.

According to a report from 9To5Mac, the iPhone maker has been constantly modifying the user interface of the OS internally prior to its final debut at the WWDC.

Several of the current textures, including linen on the notifications panel and leather in the calendar app are to be restored with flat black-and-white colouring.

In addition, the new OS will feature a modified Lock screen, replacing the shiny, transparent time bar with a shine-free black interface, while the normal square pin code grid are to be replaced with round, black buttons with white text and borders.

Reports also reveal that Apple has been testing new panels for quick access to information which include a localised news feed in the Notification Center and a panel with toggles for Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, and Blue tooth.

The new OS is also expected to retain the Home Screen’s design, while supporting panorama wallpapers which have been offered in Android.
