Apple to roll-out iPad Wi-Fi models in China

To be available from September 17 at select retail stores and authorised resellers

Apple is set to launch the Wi-Fi models of its iPad in China, which will be available to customers from Apple retail stores, and select Apple authorised resellers, on Friday, September 17.

The iPad Wi-Fi models are 0.5 inches thick, weighing around 1.5 pounds and deliver up to 10 hours of battery life for surfing web on Wi-Fi, watching videos or listening to music.

Apple said that iPad allows users to browse the web, read and send email, share photos, watch HD videos, listen to music, play games, and read ebooks, all using its multi-touch user interface.

iPad Wi-Fi models will be available at a suggested retail price of CNY3988 for 16GB, CNY4788 for 32GB and CNY5588 for 64GB in China.
