AppLabs, a software testing and quality management company, has partnered with Gomez, the web performance division of Compuware, to provide scalable, easy-to-use, on-demand load and website performance testing offerings.

Using Gomez’s Web load and performance testing offering, AppLabs’ customers will now be able to generate scalable, high volume load from the cloud and real-world load from over 150,000 Gomez Last Mile desktops around the globe.

Gomez customers will have access to AppLabs’ global testing and quality management knowledge.

As per the agreement, AppLabs will resell Gomez’s offerings to provide customers with scalable, easy-to-use, on-demand load and website performance testing offerings.

Gomez vice president of worldwide channels Tom Meusel said that today’s web applications require a new approach to load testing that allows users to understand the real status of their website by looking across their users, browsers, devices and geographies.

"With Gomez and AppLabs, companies will have a clear picture of how load impacts the end-users’ web experience," Meusel said.
