ANXeBusiness, a provider of networking and security managed services, has released the OfficeScreen Complete, a new managed security service providing protection from web-based threats, enhanced remote access capabilities, and productivity enhancement tools.
According to ANXeBusiness, the new security service which is built upon two security technologies – ANX OfficeScreen and ANX PositivePro – combines a managed firewall, site-to-site VPN, URL filtering, and remote access technology into one hosted offering. Additionally, when supporting five or more users, it can also include wireless access point security, traffic shaping, and internet failover support.
ANXeBusiness said that the new security service features enhanced network security that: protects business assets and data from security threats; enables compliance with Government regulations including PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and GLBA; and eliminates the risk of technology obsolescence through a managed service.
The company said that the new security service improves employee productivity by managing access to non-work related websites, securely connecting remote offices, and enabling remote workers to operate in ‘native mode’.
