ANXeBusiness, a provider of networking and security managed services, has acquired S2S Communications, an enterprise broadband and managed network infrastructure service provider, to strengthen its position in the managed security and managed network services markets.
Headquartered in Conshohocken, PA, S2S provides IT network design, engineering, implementation, management and lifecycle offerings. It has vertical customer concentrations in the energy, insurance, human resources and staffing, IT services, wholesale distribution and automotive segments.
Under terms of the agreement, ANXeBusiness will be acquiring S2S’s suite of managed network products and services. The transaction comes a year after ANX acquired the assets of CSCI including the virtual private network (VPN) portion of CSCI’s OfficeScreen business and the VPN division of Positive Networks and its flagship product PositivePRO.
Up on completion of the transaction, S2S will continue to operate from its Conshohocken location, giving ANX presence in Greater Philadelphia and the Eastern Seaboard.
