Android L 5.0 is expected to be unveiled soon as Google starts the roll out of Google Play v5.0 for Android users.

The new Google Play has been redesigned with new features such as a scrolling effect throughout the Google Play app store, Google music, and Google movies.

Android Police has made the 5.0 apk available on its site for users to download with their compatible device.

Google has also released the Android L v5.0 64-bit emulator for x86Intel CPUs, which will allow developers to optimise older apps for the upcoming Android version which is expected to have 64-bit architecture.

The 64-bit is expected to increase the memory space and allow larger number of registers and new instructions sets for developers, reported GSMArena.

However, the catch is that the Android L emulators can only be used to develop apps for handsets that use Intel’s Bay Trail and Atom chipsets as Google has not released an emulator for 64-bit ARM v8 architecture.
