Sprint, a provider of wireless and wireline communications services, has introduced NextMail Professional for all its mobile devices to enable mobile professionals instantaneously send a recorded voice message to up to 50 e-mail addresses.
According to the company, the new tool powered by Pacific DataVision also enables mobile users to send the voice message via text message to up to 50 mobile devices and receive a ‘Listen to’ notification.
The messages can be sent with the push of a button and allows its users to include location information and pictures with a NextMail message. The new platform supports all Sprint devices including the new HTC EVOTM 4G.
The company said that the offerings collaborative messaging features enable recipients to respond by voice to a voice, text or e-mail message, allowing fast, seamless and unobtrusive two-way communication.
In addition, the offering functionality includes mobile time and attendance reporting, appointment scheduling, customised mobile forms, job ticket and customer information management, and a communications console, the company said.
