Advanced Computer Software has appointed Gordon Wilson as its new CEO, with the UK software provider expecting Wilson to emulate the business growth he fostered in his previous roles.
Wilson’s previous roles include serving as Managing Director at Kerridge Automotive Systems, ADP Dealer Services and more recently leading Aquilaheywood – with the latter growing an impressive 90% over five years under Wilson’s watch.
The new CEO will take the reins of a business which has already grown its revenue to more than £200 million in just six years, with the business recently Vista Equity Partners (Vista) for an enterprise value of £750 million in March 2015.
A key focus for Wilson will be further enhancing the quality of Advanced’s products and services as well as providing the highest standard of customer support.
Wilson said, "Advanced has already built an excellent reputation in the UK and I was impressed by the diversity of the markets it operates in. These are just two of the reasons I’m looking forward to joining the Group.
"My goal is to build on the success of the business, focusing on expansion by investing in people, products, processes and systems and in turn providing innovative, cutting edge technology solutions to our customers."
