Adeptol launches new version of Document Viewer Enterprise Edition

Self optimisation technology to get pages directly from the server

By CBR Staff Writer

Adeptol has released a Document Viewer Enterprise Edition version 4.4 with a built-in high speed buffering and rendering technology to load documents of size up to 0.5GB in one second.

The new version of Enterprise Viewer introduces a range of new features for developers and business users and offers advanced document search capabilities, thumbnails support, watermarking, page rotation among other interface improvements, the company said.

According to Adeptol, the new Enterprise Viewer uses a built-in self optimisation technology to get the pages directly from the server as they are being rendered. It allows users to start reading page one of document immediately and continue to do regular operations like search, text selection, scrolling between pages, while rest of the pages come in the background.

In addition, the viewer estimates the network connection speed, document size, server load among a lot of many other factors like browser, client machine memory and self optimises to load the documents faster. Reportedly, users can view more than 300 document types without the need to download any plug-ins or ActiveX components.

This is a result of close cooperation with leading partners and strong relationships with our customers, who have provided us with invaluable feedback. The new version of the product with an enhanced API offers great opportunities for developers to customise the viewer according to their requirements.
