Access Northeast unveils Parthenon Secure Cloud

Parthenon Secure Cloud available in three levels: secure cloud; enterprise secure cloud; and custom secure cloud

By CBR Staff Writer

Access Northeast, a privately held data centre managed services providers in New England, has unveiled its Parthenon Secure Cloud dedicated service.

The new Private Cloud products are designed to help alleviate security concerns for businesses who are wary of migrating important applications to the cloud, yet still desire the benefits of computing scalability, flexibility, cost-efficiency and maximum uptime.

The company said that the Parthenon Secure Cloud is a comprehensive offering for critical corporate systems that can be built, provisioned and online within 45 days, powering an entire business at an affordable cost.

The service is built with components from Dell, VMware, Fortinet, Radware and Cisco on Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux OS; and is architected, deployed and managed by Access Northeast.

Parthenon Secure Cloud’s services are available in three levels: secure cloud – entry-level offering with five to fifty servers; enterprise secure cloud – corporate infrastructure capable of serving thousands of end-users, scaling from a minimum of ten up to hundreds of virtual servers; and custom secure cloud – corporate environment built to client specifications with premium equipment that can manage an unlimited amount of servers upon demand.

The company said that the Parthenon Enterprise Secure Cloud clients are allocated private colocation cabinet space with an ability to add additional customer-owned or Access Northeast managed equipment on demand.

Access Northeast CEO Rob Stephenson said the company is pleased to extend the performance and reliability of the Parthenon Cloud Hybrid Platform to dedicated customer infrastructure via their new Secure Private Cloud service.

"We envision businesses of all sizes being able to capitalise by rapidly deploying internal and external IT applications in the comfort of a secure, hosted environment," Stephenson.
