Accenture has collaborated with an Internet content service operator in South Korea NHN to develop applications for smartphones in South Korea.
The company said that it wouldl work with NHN to develop mobile applications and improve functions customised for Android and Apple OS for the mobile version of NHN’s Naver search engine which is an Internet portal and search engine in South Korea.
Under the partnership, Accenture will work with NHN to upgrade applications for Wingbus, NHN’s South Korea-based online travel and tourism site.
In addition, both the companies will also collaborate to develop new functions that are now available on NHN’s Naver Ndrive, a personal cloud-based storage service.
Accenture embedded software services South Korea head Jung Wook Kim said they are teaming up with NHN to develop applications on a wide variety of mobile platforms so that their customers can use the services they value such as web-based services and applications while on the move.
