Ability Commerce releases new version of web development tool

Includes one-click checkout process, content productivity tool and updated Google analytics integrations

Ability Commerce has released a new version of web development tool SmartSite 8.01, which includes a one-click checkout process and new content productivity tools and updated Google analytics integrations.

Diane Buzzeo, CEO of Ability Commerce, said: “As our clients monitor orders after upgrading to the new checkout process, their feedback has been even more positive than we anticipated. It’s been very gratifying to see real lifts in conversion rates on the clients’ web sites.”

The company said that the enhanced checkout process integrates previous capabilities and provides cart system encompassing commerce needs such as multi-currency displays, electronic gift-card redemption and third-party PayPal and Google Checkout integrations.

According to Ability Commerce, the enhancements to its new version of the ecommerce web site management tool include an upgrade to embedded support for the new Google Analytics code version and compatibility testing for IIS7 standards.
