A prince among journalists

Duncan MacRae finds his level, mingling with royalty and chattering about games and social media.

By Cbr Rolling Blog

Yesterday, I met with Saudi Arabian royalty – His Royal Highness Prince Fahad al Saud. It was an absolute honour and privilege for him.

The prince was in London town to talk tech. Having developed his computing skills at Stanford University and honing them while working at Facebook, he has an interesting and unique perspective of how technology, particularly social media, is developing around the world.

As I worked in technology journalism in the Middle East many moons ago, it was fascinating to hear what the region’s IT sector is doing to not only catch up with parts of with world with more developed It skills and infrastructure, but perhaps even push ahead one day.

You’ll be able to find out much more about this and also learn about Prince Fahad’s start-up tech firms – an app development company and game producer – in our full upcoming Q&A.

Keep a look out for it!
