6Connex has unveiled version 5.0 of its Virtual Experience Platform, which enables multiple organisations within an enterprise to execute virtual business offerings.

The company said that version 5.0 offers the ability to provide additional business offerings to support the needs across all cross-functional organisations. It provides business intelligence for each virtual offering created, and provides centralised visibility and access across all virtual business offerings hosted throughout an enterprise worldwide.

6Connex said that its customers will be able to launch new virtual business offerings through the use of previously approved templates or completely customised graphics that customers can create and upload themselves.

The new version also includes a new Social Collaboration Network feature that increases communication and collaboration amongst employees, customers and partners.
