10ZiG Technology, a provider of network appliances, and Kaviza, a provider of desktop virtualisation offeirngs, have introduced a Virtual Desktop end-to-end offering.

10ZiG said that the new RBT-682v thin client features a VDI software and is optimised to launch and run Kaviza virtual desktops.

The small unit boasts the 1.6GHz Dual Thread processor and includes the Kaviza VDI-in-a-box Desktop Client pre-installed.

The company said that Kaviza’s design simplifies virtual desktop administration through dynamic desktop provisioning, load balancing, connection brokering, user provisioning, and high-availability are automatically handled.

10ZiG Technology president Martin Pladgeman said that their new RBT-682v thin client provides customers looking to implement Kaviza’s VDI-in-the-box with an affordable desktop appliance, which is designed for the offering and tested, approved, and recommended by Kaviza.
