SmartBear Software, a provider of enterprise-class software offerings, has acquired AlertSite, a provider of Web and mobile performance management offerings.
AlertSite provides Web and mobile performance management offerings that improve the Web user experience.
Through this acquisition, SmartBear will expand its cloud and mobile offering, and will allow customers to drive quality from development and testing of websites and applications, said the company.
In addition, AlertSite’s DejaClick is a Web performance monitor that measures a user’s end-to-end website and mobile experience, which enable companies to speed up and optimise Web and mobile offerings.
SmartBear Software said that approximately 2,300 small to enterprise-level companies rely on AlertSite’s comprehensive suite of services to increase website and mobile ROI.
SmartBear provides quality and performance tools throughout the quality lifecycle, anywhere — on the desktop, mobile and the cloud.

SmartBear Software CEO Joe Krivickas said AlertSite’s cloud-based offerings for Web and mobile performance monitoring are an addition to their existing development and testing tools.
