In its declared quest to add, by acquisition, 1,000m francs $167m or so – of additional annual business between the beginning of this year and 1993, Paris software and services house Sligos SA yesterday revealed five acquisitions that together take it one third of the way to its target. It bought a 60% stake in Mesarteam SpA, an Italian in the industrial software development business with 300 employees and $29m turnover projected for 1990; 95% of a mystery Spanish company doing $8m a year with 17 staff in financial and banking software; 90% of Maintec SA, maintenance and conversion, $2m, 13 staff; 60% of Derieux SA, network development, $7m, 80 staff, and 100% of Sertec SA, cheque processing and banking software, $14m, 270 staff, all of France.
