SITA WINS LUFTHANSA DESKTOP CONTRACT

Swiss IT services company SITA has won a $215m contract to provide managed PC workstations to German airline Lufthansa. The company will roll out over 6,000 units in 100 countries – based on its common use terminal equipment (CUTE). The firm will also provide Lufthansa with a global network to connect the terminals and link with its central host system in Frankfurt, Germany – a contract worth $32m which will run for 2 years.
