Sipex Corp, in Billerica, Massachusetts has acquired the assets of Barvon BiCMOS Technology Inc, Milpitas, California, in a cash transaction, value unspecified: the acquisition adds CMOS and bipolar CMOS – BiCMOS process technology to Sipex’s existing dielectrically isolated bipolar process capability, which the company uses in the fabrication of standard, semi-custom and full custom analogue and signal processing chip products.
