SingTel, MobileOne and StarHub have already failed to have the deadline delayed. The IDA has so far maintained its tough stance by refusing to allow the operators to share their 3G infrastructures. The regulator is not expected to be any more sympathetic this time.

The three operators each paid approximately $560 million for a 3G license in April 2001. It is expected that the operators will spend a combined total of $560 million to build the networks.
