SINGAPORE HAS NEW COPYRIGHT PROTECTION LAWS

Singapore, anxious to attract high-tech inward investment, has enacted draconian new copyright protection laws that impose increased fines and gaol terms of up to five years for infringement: software copyright is covered by the new law.
