SIMON ENGINEERING WINS DEAL WITH THE SOVIET UNION

It was a year ago bar a month that Mrs Thatcher came back from Moscow bearing agreement for Simon Engineering Plc’s Simon Carves unit to build a UKP260m factory in Yerevan, Armenia to manufacture GEC Plc programmable controllers, in January this year it was announced that Simon Carves had won the contract, and finally last week came the news that the contract had been signed in Moscow on Wednesday: you need a deal of patience if you want to do business with Comecom countries.
