SILVAR-LISCO IMPLEMENTS IT SL-VERIFY SOFTWARE FOR ALLIANT’S FX/2800 FAMILY MINISUPERCOMPUTERS

Silvar-Lisco Inc has implemented its SL-Verify design verification software for Littleton, Massachusetts-based Alliant Computer Systems Corp’s new 80860-based FX/2800 family of parallel minisupercomputers: Alliant says that in a benchmark, an entire 1.25 micron VLSI chip design – of over 1.3m polygons with 12 mask layers and 54 design rules – was verified in under 39 minutes.
