Sigma Designs Inc is to offer hit music videos in the ReelMagic MPEG compact disk format for personal computers. Based on a pact signed earlier this year with the Warner Special Products unit of Warner Music Group, Sigma plans to offer a selection of five ReelMagic-compatible music videos from Warner’s artists. INXS’ Greatest Video Hits 1980-1990 will be the first music video title available in this format. Under the terms of the agreement, Sigma will have the rights to distribute five Warner music video CDs in the MPEG format as bundled options with its Reel Magic products. The first disk is to be available this month.
