Sify will provide packaged Saba Learning Suite to enterprises. According to Saba, Sify’s e-learning solutions are aligned with its suite for employee development and the partnership will focus on vertical markets like IT, ITeS, BFSI, pharmaceuticals and academic institutions.

Sify said that it currently offers eLearning solutions with services such as custom content and courseware development, performance consulting, simulation-based training and learning management systems implementation.

By packaging Saba’s solutions and bundling it with our content services, we will be able to bring globally established best-of-breed applications to help our customers in India, said P J Nath, executive president, Enterprise Solutions at Sify.

According to Indian business newspaper Business Standard, the global e-learning market is estimated to be worth about $25 billion while growing at a compound annual growth rate of 25-30%.

Saba has two development centers in India, located at Mumbai and Pune, while Sify’s development canter is located at Chennai.

Earlier this month, Sify’s e-Learning division won two Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning awards for the development and application of learning technology. The awards were presented by training research firm Brandon Hall Research.
