Sify Technologies, a provider of enterprise and consumer Internet services in India, has unveiled Sify mylife, India’s first consumer cloud services platform that enables digital lifestyle encompassing communication, education, travel, entertainment and utility, with enhanced cyber security.

With the new cloud services platform, consumers will be able access a whole new world of services, application developers can build and host offerings on mylife, and advertisers can talk to people who access the net, either at cafes, at home or on mobile Internet devices like smart phones, according to the company.

Sify Technologies said that the mylife consumer cloud services platform will empower cybercafes with regulatory cyber security measures; cybercafe management and governance; digital lifestyle offerings for end consumers; online test centre; sify talk: ISD calling; and online advertising and brand engagement platform.

The company claimed that 160,000 shared Internet access points in India like cybercafes can connect to mylife either through a broadband connection or a specially designed ‘Edge device’.

Additionally, mylife will soon be accessible through Home Broadband, Sify.com, mobile phones and the Cloud connection device.
