Wireless communications equipment manufacture Sierra Wireless and Finnish telecommunications company DNA have partnered to introduce a new AirCard 762S mobile hotspot, which is called as DNA 4G WLAN Mokkula.
The new release provides a 4G LTE connection for up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices at once on the DNA LTE network and it supports all network technologies DNA has to offer: 2G, 3G, and 4G.
Laptops, tablets, cameras, and portable gaming devices can be connected on-the-go to a high-speed connection fully capable of handling large files and media streaming.
The DNA 4G WLAN Mokkula offers a navigation button that scrolls through several screens, providing access to messages and alerts, firmware status, and more detailed device information directly from the device itself without logging in to the web interface.
It also offers up to 6 hours of battery life while in steady use, and for heavy users, an extended battery providing up to 8 hours will be made available as an optional purchase.
The AirCard Hub is also sold separately for those who want to expand the use of their hotspot at home or in a small office setting. It acts as a docking station and extends the 4G LTE connection to 16 Wi-Fi, four Ethernet, and two USB devices, while charging the hotspot’s battery and strengthening its signal strength with the use of external antennas.
