SIEMENS USES MICROSPARC IN SYNCHRONOUS DIGITAL HIERARCHY

Despite making the MIPS Technologies Inc RISC itself, Siemens AG, Munich has announced that it will use Sun Microsystems Inc’s microSparc RISC for its Synchronous Digital Hierarchy, the European standard for optical network transmission line technologies.
