SIEMENS PLESSEY SYSTEMS WIN UK MINISTRY OF DEFENCE CONTRACT

Siemens Plessey Systems Ltd has won a contract worth around ?45m from the UK Ministry of Defence for a new command centre for the Royal Navy at Northwood, southern England: the project, scheduled to be completed in 1998, includes design and construction of the new command centre, and the integration of computer and communications systems.
