SIEMENS MAKES 1M-BIT MEMORY CHIPS AT THE REGENSBURG FACTORY

Siemens AG says that it is now making 1M-bit memory chips – using Toshiba Corp technology – at its Regensberg factory at a rate of 100,000 a month, and hopes to have made 2m of them by the end of 1988.
