SIEMENS AWARDED ABOUT 10% OF AMERITECH’S REQUIREMENT OF DIGITAL TELEPHONE EXCHANGES FOR 1987

The Financial Times has now reported it prominently on its back page, so it must be true: as reported in CI No 604 last month, Siemens has been awarded about 10% of Ameritech’s $120m requirement of digital telephone exchanges for 1987, the lion’s share being split between AT&T and Northern Telecom.
