Siemens AG has been rumoured to be weighing up a bid for Gould Inc for about 18 months now, but all the talks have so far culminated only in an agreement that the two companies will market each other’s computer-based test and measurement systems, and may move on to joint development of digital test, measurement and analysis equipment.
