SIEMENS AND 3COM TO WORK ON DATACOMS

Siemens AG and 3Com Corp are to jointly develop and market voice and data networking products. Siemens’ private communications unit will market 3Com’s computer networking products across the world and will license network control software from the Santa Clara, California company. The companies will aim to generate $500m of business from the collaboration over the next five years.
