For its quarter ended Sept 30, 2005 Siebel expects license revenue of $112m, maintenance revenue of $125m and services and other revenue of $109m.
Previously, the company forecast a 2-cent to 3-cent profit per share with revenue between $305m and $315m. Average Wall Street estimates were for 2-cents per share on $311m.
During the third quarter, San Mateo, California-based Siebel will see a $12m charge for its restructuring plan, which it began in late June, the company said.
In the third quarter, we met or exceeded our revenue guidance, achieving year over year revenue growth across the board and exceeding our goals in all geographic regions, said Siebel chief executive George Shaheen in a statement.
