Sichuan Changhong Electric Co is ranked second in the home appliance brands list of the 500 most valuable brands in China and has a world-class manufacturing facility. In line with the manufacturer’s goal to actively participate in the development of a global digital industry, it has selected UGS as its partner.
UGS Teamcenter was favored over competitors’ software because of its seamless integration with Sichuan Changhong Electric’s existing enterprise resource planning implementation and bill of material data management.
UGS also announced that its China operation is celebrating 20th anniversary this year. UGS entered the Chinese market in 1987, established its first representative office in Beijing in 1990, and set up an R&D center in Shanghai in 2004.
