We alluded a few months back to Apple Computer Inc’s proprietary calendar which loved September so much it accorded the month 31 days, but now the picture is becoming clearer and Apple has some support for what is clearly a campaign to give every month 31 days (likely some characteristically Californian obsession with the rights of months not to be disadvantaged by their dearth of days): at all events, Shiva Corp of Cambridge, in the state that gave us the fading Dukakis (the Democratic Party just looked it up and learned to its chagrin that Dukakis is Greek for Mondale), has joined the Apple campaign and says that the price of its local NetBridge for AppleTalk networks is to increase to $500 after November 31.
