Burlington, Massachusetts-based LanRover server specialist Shiva Corp has established new European headquarters in Windsor, Berkshire, from which it hopes to spearhead a push into the rest of Europe. The new base is the company’s first office outside the US, but according to Tim Capps, who has joined Shiva from Connor Peripherals Inc and is to head up the operation, it will be followed by support offices at other European locations in the future. Shiva is to keep on its existing distributors, but the company says it also hopes to establish further distribution and reseller relationships in Europe. The company is not at the moment saying, however, which European countries it is planning to target first.
