The Basingstoke-based computer and peripherals distributor Micro Peripherals Ltd has been acquired by the Sharptext Group of Dublin for an undisclosed sum. Micro P had an annual turnover of UKP27m in its last financial year and will continue be a supplier for companies such as Amstrad, Canon, Panasonic, Philips and Juki.
