GEO Interactive Media Group Ltd, which develops Internet software in Israel, plans to float on the London Alternative Investment Market this autumn via a placing to UK institutional investors. The company, founded in 1994, is busy turning swords into plowshares, because most of its founders and technicians come from the advanced technology development unit of the Israel Defense Forces, which specializes in simulators, virtual combat zones and encryption techniques. Among its products are Emblaze, which provides multimedia content delivery over the Internet and interactive products for delivery on CD-ROM. Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance is the advisor and Panmure Gordon is broker, also responsible for underwriting the placing.
