StarBase Corp, Irvine, California developer of the StarTeam, Versions, Versions/VB for Visual Basic and Roundtable Total Software Management System for Progress Software products for collaborative application development workflow under for Windows, Windows NT, Windows95 and Unix, has raised some $4.5m in a private placing of 2.25m $2 units, each consisting of one share of Series B preferred stock and one warrant for a common share at an exercise price of $2 during the first year and $2.50 per share during the second year. The company did not identify the placing agent for the fund-raising.
