DRS Data & Research Services Plc, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire optical scanning equipment specialist, is pricing the shares in its placing of 13.64m shares, 7m of them new, representing 38% of the enlarged equity, at 110 pence per share, raising UKP7m net for the company, to be used to develop new products and expand marketing geographically. The company is valued at UKP39.2m at the placing price. Dealing will begin on May 5. The DRS Data & Research placing is sponsored by MacArthur & Co Ltd, and underwritten by its brokers Beeson Gregory Ltd.
