Intevac Inc, Santa Clara supplier of static disk sputtering systems used to manufacture thin-film platters for hard drives, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission an amendment to a registration statement for its initial public offering of 2.5m shares, all new, at a target price of $7.00 to $8.00 a share. SQA Inc, Woburn, Massachusetts developer of integrated software products for the automated testing and quality management of Windows-based client-server applications, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offering of 2m shares, all new, at a target price of between $12 and $14 to raise working capital.The offering will be managed by Robertson, Stephens & Co LP and Wessels, Arnold & Henderson LLC.
