Elantec Semiconductor Inc, Milpitas, California maker of high performance analogue integrated circuits, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offering of up to 2.8m shares, 1.4m of them new, at a target price of $8 to $10 a share. Proceeds will be used for capital expenditures, to expand manufacturing facilities, and for working capital. The underwriters will be Cowen & Co and Hambrecht & Quist LLC.
Logic Works Inc, Princeton, New Jersey Windows-based software developer, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offering of up to 3.2m shares at a target price of $9 to $11 a share. Proceeds will be used for debt repayment and working capital. The underwriters will be Morgan Stanley & Co Inc, Hambrecht & Quist and Robertson, Stephens & Co.
