Eagle Point Software Corp, Dubuque, Iowa filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offering of 2m shares, 1.5m of them new, at a $10.00 to $12.00 target range. William Blair & Co and Piper Jaffray Inc will co-manage the underwriting group, the company said.

Key Tronic Corp, Spokane, Washington keyboards maker got its sale of 650,000 shares away at $13.50 per share, but it sold no new shares for the benefit of the company. Genesis Merchant Group Securities Inc handled the underwriting of the shares.

NexGen Inc, Milpitas developer of the Nx586 RISC microprocessor, got its initial public offering of 3.55m shares away at $15 a share – against an $11 to $13 target, raising some $50m net for repayment of debt and for working capital. The lead underwriters for the issue were PaineWebber Inc, Robertson Stephens & Co and Alex Brown & Sons Inc.US Robotics Corp, Skokie, Illinois modem maker, got its offer of 2.5m shares, 1.5m of them new, away at $85.50 a share, raising some $125m net for the company. Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette Securities, Hambrecht & Quist, Oppenheimer & Co and Southcoast Capital were the underwriters for the offering.
