FTP Software Inc, the North Andover, Massachusetts specialist in NCP/IP file transfer and other communications software, which went public only late last year, has already filed to make another share offer, but this time, all but 100,000 of the 4m shares on offer are coming from existing shareholders clearly wanting to cash in on the fact that the shares, originally sold at $19 a time, are now trading at around $26.50. No word on the company’s plans for the $2.2m or so net proceeds. The underwriters for the offering will be Montgomery Securities, Alex Brown & Sons Inc and Cowen & Co.
